Webb trustee Deval Dvivedi ’00 and his wife, Snigdha, have made a generous $100,000 Centennial Campaign commitment to both create a new endowed fund to support financial aid at Webb and to support The Webb Fund. In making this thoughtful gift, the Dvivedis expressed a desire to accomplish two goals simultaneously. They wished to help Webb students and faculty members achieve their goals today through The Webb Fund and to create a permanent fund that will provide opportunities to Webb students through financial aid, in perpetuity.
In addition to his desire to provide resources now and into the future, Dvivedi asked that as The Centennial Years unfold, Webb invites other alumni beginning with the Class of 2000 to consider supporting financial aid through The 21st Century Endowed Scholarship Fund, in addition to their own Webb Fund support.
“I chose to name this permanent fund The 21st Century Endowed Fund at Webb to provide all alumni who have graduated in the 21st century a vehicle or means for them to support financial aid at Webb. I feel strongly that those of us who have graduated in the past 20 years feel a deep passion for Webb and for the world that Webb students will lead, and we have an opportunity and a responsibility to demonstrate that support. I hope others will join Snigdha and me in the years ahead!”
